One of my favorite photos that I've ever taken

You can see God's awesome hand in the beauty all around this area. We said we'd like to go back there somday and spend several days just at Jenny Lake.

Jackson Hole Airport

The airport there is so small and it's in a valley. As we approached, Bret said "Is that the airport - it's so small. I sure hope our pilot is good. He had to set down a very large jet on what looked like a too short runway. Of course, they have no jetbridges, so you have to board and deplane by walking up a latter. I hadn't experienced that in many years. American was the only airline that flew a big jet into that airport.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

These were taken on the streets of Jackson Hole. The antlers in the arch are replaced as they weather. The town itself is very cool with a definite western feel.

These mud pits are everywhere

A river runs through it

It is so peaceful in Yellowstone in spite of the near traffic jam. In the summertime, there are so many tourists. The weather was perfect and we actually went into the park one full day, and two half-days. One day when we were driving through, it clouded up and I thought at first it was raining, but when I looked closer at the windshield, it was actually rain mixed with SNOW - we're talking about JUNE. It was truly awesome.

Wyoming Vacation - 2007

In June of 2007, we flew to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. My sister, Amanda, had been there a couple of years before and after seeing her pictures, we knew this would a place that we would love visiting.
